Bret has been a physical therapist for over 10 years, having received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2011.  Bret has worked in outpatient physical therapy settings throughout his career and enjoys working with a variety of diagnoses and conditions.  He has significant experience in the treatment of orthopedic conditions, general joint and mobility dysfunction, post-op rehabilitation, and sports-related injury.  Bret particularly enjoys and specializes in treating the injuries and dysfunctions involving the foot and ankle and is trained in gait and running analysis.

Bret is a Graston Technique Specialist and enjoys using this treatment technique to address soft-tissue limitations.  Bret has completed certifications in Rock Steady Boxing and PWR! Moves, both for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and other neurologic and movement-related conditions.

Bret was born and raised in Hilton Head, SC, where he lived until going away for college.  He and his wife, Samantha, reside in Williamsburg, along with their daughter, son, and two dogs.  In his free time, you can find Bret hiking, running, mountain biking, or practicing his woodworking.  He and his family also enjoy trips to the beach, boating, and fishing.
